Before you start

This guide walks you through your Eupry Mapping Kit from unboxing to a finished, audit-ready temperature mapping study – in the order the process actually works. It covers the same ground as the nine onboarding videos, so you can read instead of watch, or use both together.

Each step is self-contained. You can jump to a specific step, or work through all nine in sequence on your first run. The steps are designed to be followed in order – if you skip ahead, the most common result is a restudy.

Kits are configured differently. Some kits include a Basestation and a Live Data Hub; some contain data loggers only. Where a step does not apply to your kit, the guide says so – follow the parts that match your kit, and check your components against the packing list inside the box.

Preparation

What is in your kit

Before you connect anything, verify the full contents of your kit and learn what each component does. Two minutes of inventory now prevents a larger problem later.

Confirm the inventory

Mapping Kits are configured differently depending on what you ordered, so check your components against the packing list included in your kit. Only the components in your kit apply to you.

A full-configuration kit contains:

Your kit may not include the Basestation or the Live Data Hub. If it does not, skip those parts. Lay everything out on a flat surface and confirm each item against your packing list before continuing.

The data logger

The data logger collects temperature, humidity, or CO₂ readings from its external sensor. It records one measurement per minute. How often it uploads depends on your kit:

Reading the indicator lights

On the front face are two indicator lights – the Wi-Fi light and the temperature indicator light. Press the center button to activate them.

Green or yellow: the logger is operating correctly. No action needed.
Red, or no lights at all: the logger needs attention.

Batteries

The battery slot is on the back of the logger, and your kit ships with batteries already installed. Always use AA lithium batteries – not alkaline. Alkaline batteries reduce operational life significantly, especially at low temperatures. Your kit includes two spare batteries per logger. Replace both batteries in each logger at the start of every new mapping study.

Sensor

On the top of the logger is a slot where the external sensor connects. The sensor is pre-installed when the kit ships. Do not remove it unless your study requires repositioning the sensor independently of the logger body.

Logger ID

On the right side of the logger you will find its unique identification number and name. Write these down or photograph them – you will need the full name and the last five digits if you ever contact Eupry Support.

Sensor calibration

Each sensor is individually calibrated and carries a unique ID, visible on the side of the sensor. The calibration certificates for all sensors are downloadable from Eupry Mapping Software, which you will do in Step 8.

Compliance note

A calibration certificate only becomes available in the mapping software after the logger it is attached to has come online and connected to Eupry's servers. The sensor must be physically inserted in the logger, and the logger must be online, before the certificate appears. This is why connecting your loggers in Step 2 matters for your documentation package, too.

Basestation (if your kit includes one). The Basestation is the wireless hub that receives data from your loggers and transmits it to the cloud. Before powering it on, attach all three antennas: the Wi-Fi antenna and both mobile antennas. Antenna placement is covered in Step 2.
Live Data Hub (if your kit includes one). The Live Data Hub connects to the Basestation and enables data transmission every three minutes. Place it close to the Basestation and connect it using the included power supply.
Before you move on

Confirm your inventory is complete. A missing component discovered after setup wastes time and may delay your study start. If any item is missing, contact Eupry Support at support@eupry.com before proceeding.

Connecting your Basestation and loggers

Power on the Basestation, connect it to the internet, and confirm that every data logger is communicating with Eupry's servers. Work through the sequence in order – each step depends on the one before it.

Data loggers only? If your kit contains only data loggers, without a Basestation, follow Step 2b: Connecting your loggers over your own Wi-Fi instead of this step.

1. Attach the antennas before power-on

Attach all three antennas to the Basestation – the Wi-Fi antenna and both mobile antennas. This must be done before you power the unit on.

Position the Basestation away from corners, thick concrete walls, and metal objects such as pipes. These materials absorb and reflect radio signals. A central position in the room, or as close to the study area as practical, gives the best coverage.

2. Power-on sequence

Plug in the power supply. Once the unit receives power, the signal LEDs on the front panel start blinking green while the Basestation connects. When the signal LEDs switch from blinking to a steady green, the Basestation is connected to the internet and ready. This can take a few minutes.

If the LEDs do not go steady

The signal LEDs also show how strong the connection is – the more of them lit, the stronger the signal.

If the LEDs still will not settle to a steady green, contact Eupry Support before continuing.

Live Data Hub (if your kit includes one). Place the Live Data Hub as close to the Basestation as possible and connect it using the included power supply. The front panel shows three status indicators – Power, Wi-Fi, and Data Transmission. All three should be lit when the system is running correctly.

3. Install logger batteries

If this is a new mapping study, install fresh AA lithium batteries in every logger. Open the battery slot on the back, insert two batteries, and close the slot.

4. Connect each logger

  1. Place each logger within two to three meters of the Basestation.
  2. Press the center button once on each logger.
  3. The Wi-Fi indicator light flashes, then turns green once the logger has connected to Eupry's servers. A steady green light confirms the logger is registered and will begin uploading measurements.

This process takes thirty seconds to two minutes per logger.

Compliance note

Do not move the loggers to their study positions until you have confirmed a steady green light on each one. A logger without a confirmed green light has not established its connection to Eupry's servers – and a logger that is not connected will not contribute data to your study. Confirming a green light per logger is the check that prevents silent data gaps.

Force an upload

At any point during setup or during the study, you can press the center button to force an immediate data upload. This is useful to verify connectivity before committing to a placement position.

If a logger will not connect

If a logger does not show a green Wi-Fi light after pressing the center button, work through this in order:

  1. Check that the batteries are installed correctly.
  2. Confirm the logger is within 100 meters of the Basestation, with no major obstacles between them.
  3. Verify the Basestation signal LEDs are steady green.
  4. Power-cycle the logger by removing and reinserting the batteries, then press the center button again.

If the issue persists, contact Eupry Support with the logger's full name and last five digits from the right side panel.

Next

Once all loggers show a steady green light, you are ready to log in to Eupry Mapping Software and confirm they appear in the system. That is Step 3.

Preparation

Connecting your loggers over your own Wi-Fi

For kits that contain data loggers only, with no Basestation and no Live Data Hub. Your loggers send their data to Eupry Mapping Software through your own Wi-Fi network.

Have a Basestation? If your kit includes a Basestation, this step does not apply to you – follow Step 2 instead.

What your network needs

Three things to have ready before you connect your first logger:

Join your Wi-Fi network

You connect your loggers with the Eupry Connect app. Download it from the App Store on an iPhone or iPad, and make sure the device is on the same 2.4 GHz network you want the loggers to use. There is also a Windows version, which connects one logger at a time – the flow is the same.

  1. In the app, enter your Wi-Fi name, password, and encryption type, and press continue.
  2. Put the logger into connection mode: hold the "e" button down for six seconds, until the Wi-Fi and temperature lights blink red. The logger stays in connection mode for ten minutes.
  3. The app connects to the logger through the logger's own temporary network. When the join prompt for "eupry-datalogger" appears, accept it. If it does not join on the first try, accept the prompt again until it does – that is normal.
  4. When your logger appears on the Your Data Loggers screen, the app passes your Wi-Fi details to it. You are done when the logger shows Connected Successfully.

To connect more loggers, stay on the Your Data Loggers screen and put the next logger into connection mode – the app finds it automatically.

Confirm the connection

Press the center button on the logger. The indicator lights show its status: green or yellow means the logger is connected and you are good to go; red lights, or no lights at all, mean the logger needs attention.

Then confirm from the software side. Log in to the mapping software and check that every logger appears in your logger list with a green connectivity icon. On your own Wi-Fi, loggers upload on a standard interval of every 12 hours – pressing the center button forces an upload immediately, so you do not have to wait.

Compliance note

Do not continue to Step 3 until every logger in your kit shows as connected. If a logger never shows Connected Successfully, contact Eupry Support with the logger's name and ID before your study start date – do not start a study with a logger that has never come online.

If a logger will not connect

Yellow flashing lights mean the logger is still trying to connect. That can take a while – keep the logger close to your access point and give it a few minutes.

If the connection fails, check the basics first: the network is 2.4 GHz, and the Wi-Fi name, password, and encryption type were entered correctly. A few password characters are known to cause failures – apostrophes, quotation marks, and backslashes. Then retry the connection in the Eupry Connect app.

Still not connecting? Remove the logger's batteries for ten seconds, reinsert them, and run the connection again. The full reset sequence, and the checklist your IT department can work through, are in the Eupry Connect guide.

Getting into Eupry Mapping Software

Eupry Mapping Software is where you configure your study, view your data, and generate your mapping report. In this step you log in for the first time and get oriented.

Two systems – monitoring and mapping

Eupry runs two separate systems, and the distinction matters. Eupry Monitoring Software is where your data loggers live day-to-day. Eupry Mapping Software is a separate, mapping-specific tool – this is where you configure your study, generate your report, and download your documentation.

The most common support call

Landing in the monitoring software when you meant to open the mapping software is the single most frequent support call Eupry receives. Customers who configure a study in the monitoring software lose that work. A couple of minutes here saves a support call and potential study delays.

Log in for the first time

  1. Create your monitoring account first. Your account in the monitoring software must exist before you can access the mapping software. Use the invite email from Eupry to create your user account at app.eupry.com/monitoring. If you have not received your invite, contact support@eupry.com.
  2. Open the mapping software. Once your monitoring account is active, go directly to app.eupry.com/easymap and log in with the same credentials. Alternatively, go to eupry.com, click Login in the top right, and select Mapping from the dropdown – both routes take you to the same place.
  3. Select your account. Look for the account selector in the header at the top of the page. If you have access to more than one account, select the correct one before proceeding.
  4. Select your Location. On the left of the screen is a list of Locations and Profiles. Only accounts with purchased mapping software access appear here. Select the Location that corresponds to your mapping study.

How to tell you are in the wrong system

If you log in and see a list of loggers with connectivity icons rather than an analysis input panel, you have reached the monitoring software – not the mapping software. Check the URL in your browser. If it shows app.eupry.com/monitoring, close that tab, open a new one, navigate to app.eupry.com/easymap, and log in again.

The mapping software opens on the Analysis view – a Locations and Profiles list on the left, and an Analysis input form filling the main area where you set the mapping name, study times, and acceptance levels. It looks distinctly different from the monitoring software, which opens on a list of your connected loggers.

One situation to watch for

If someone sends you a direct link to a mapping study – for example a URL containing /easymap – and you click it while not already logged in, the system redirects you to the monitoring login screen rather than the mapping software. You end up in the monitoring software even though the link was for a mapping view. The fix: log in to the mapping software first at app.eupry.com/easymap, then use the link.

Tip

You will switch between these two systems several times during onboarding. The monitoring software is where you confirm your loggers are connected; the mapping software is where you configure, report, and download documentation. Bookmark both URLs now so switching takes seconds.

The mapping software version number is displayed in the bottom left corner of the application. This guide is written for Eupry Mapping Software version 1.8. If your version is significantly different, the corresponding user guide is available in the Eupry Knowledge Centre.

Configuring your study

Study configuration happens in Eupry Mapping Software before you place a single logger. Work through the input panel from top to bottom – every field here affects what appears in your final report.

Why this step is the one to get right

Getting configuration right the first time prevents the most common cause of restudies – a wrong timezone, missing acceptance levels, or the wrong measurement type. A wrong timezone or missing acceptance levels cannot be corrected after the study period begins without regenerating the report.

Work through the fields in order

Mapping name

Type the name your qualification plan uses for this study. This text appears on every page of the graphical representation and on the PDF report – use the exact name your protocol specifies.

Timezone

Set the GMT offset and timezone. Every data point in your report is displayed in this timezone. This is one of the most important fields in the entire configuration, and one of the most common sources of problems.

Compliance note

A wrong timezone offsets every timestamp in your report from the actual study times. If your report shows times that do not match your qualification protocol, an auditor will flag it as a discrepancy – and it cannot be fixed by editing the study after data collection has begun. If your facility operates in a different timezone than your IT infrastructure, confirm which timezone applies with your IT team before proceeding. Do not guess and continue.

Start and end dates

The start and end date and time define the window of data that appears in your report. The system extracts data from and including the minute you enter as the start time, and up to and including the minute you set as the end time. At this stage, familiarize yourself with what each field controls – you will set the actual dates once loggers are placed and the study is underway. Do not lock in a start time before the study period has begun.

Measurement type

Select temperature, humidity, or CO₂. Only one type can be included in a single report. If your study measures both temperature and humidity, you will need to generate two separate reports – one for each type. For temperature studies, also select whether to display values in Celsius or Fahrenheit.

Internal versus external sensor

Select whether the report draws from the internal sensor – built into the logger body – or the external sensor, which connects to the top of the logger. For temperature mapping studies using the external sensor, select External. Humidity and CO₂ channels are external only – the internal/external choice applies to temperature measurement only.

Acceptance levels

Enter the acceptance range from your qualification plan: the low limit and high limit for the study. These fields are optional – if left blank, they have no effect on the report. When entered, the acceptance levels appear as reference lines on the graph, as compliance indicators in the summary table (values below the lower level show in blue, values above the upper level show in red), and as the basis for the table of excursions. Set these values from your qualification plan, not from logger defaults.

Data Report Settings

Set the report time format – 12-hour or 24-hour – and the date format that matches your organization's documentation standard. These settings control how timestamps appear in the PDF report.

Report elements

The Data report elements section lets you enable or disable individual sections of the report: the graph, summary table, box plot, extrema tables, and table of excursions. If your qualification plan specifies which elements must appear, configure these before generating the final report.

Measurement interval

Enter the measurement interval of the loggers used in the study. For Mapping Kit loggers, this is 1 minute. This setting affects how the graphical representation is displayed – it does not change any of the underlying calculations.

Box plot settings

If your study includes a box plot, set whether it displays the mean or median as the center value, and whether to use percentiles or minimum/maximum values for the whiskers. The default – median with percentiles – is appropriate for most GxP mapping studies.

Mean kinetic temperature (MKT)

If your protocol requires a mean kinetic temperature calculation, enter the activation energy value here. Unless your protocol specifies otherwise, the conventional default is 83.144 kJ/mol. The calculated MKT value appears in the summary section of the report. If your protocol does not require MKT, leave this field blank.

Selecting loggers

Select the position IDs – the specific loggers – to include in this study. Only the selected loggers appear in the data explorer and in the report. If a logger is physically present in the study area but not selected here, its data will not appear.

If loggers are missing from the list

If you move loggers to different positions after this configuration, or if new profiles are created in Eupry Monitoring Software, the mapping software will not automatically reflect those changes. Click the Activate button again to sync the updated profiles into the mapping software. Missing loggers or positions in the selection list are almost always caused by this – go back to the monitoring software, make the profile changes, then return to the mapping software and activate again.

Before you move on

Review every field. Take a screenshot of the completed configuration panel and retain it as a record in line with your organization's documentation procedures – it serves as evidence of the as-configured state if questions arise later. Configuration errors discovered after the study period begins may require you to regenerate the report or, in some cases, restart the study.

Preparation

Placing loggers and starting the study

Your loggers are connected and your study is configured. This step covers physical placement, the stabilization period, and the moment you activate the study. The order matters – do not skip the stabilization period.

Follow the qualification plan

Place loggers according to the temperature mapping protocol in your qualification plan. The physical position of every logger must match the placement diagram in your protocol exactly. Mark each position on the diagram as you deploy, so you have a complete record of which logger is at which location.

Sensor orientation

When positioning each logger, ensure the sensor has unrestricted airflow. Do not place the sensor against a wall, inside a container, or in direct contact with shelving material. The sensor must be exposed to the air in the zone it is measuring. If your protocol specifies the height or orientation of the sensor, follow those instructions exactly. Deviations from the placement protocol must be documented.

Confirm connectivity before you finalize each position

After placing each logger, wait for it to upload at least one data point before moving to the next position. Open the mapping software, click Preview using the current time as the end point, and confirm the logger appears with a green connectivity icon.

If the icon shows as disconnected, press the center button on the logger to force an upload. If your kit includes a Basestation, check that the logger is within 100 meters of it. If your loggers connect through your own Wi-Fi, check that the logger is within range of your network. Do not finalize placement until every logger shows a connected status.

Allow a stabilization period

Once all loggers are in position and showing as connected, allow them to stabilize before the formal study start.

Compliance note

A logger placed in a new environment carries the temperature from wherever it was stored. Readings taken immediately after placement reflect that transport temperature, not the zone temperature. Stabilization ensures the sensor is measuring the actual ambient conditions of the study location – skipping it produces data that does not reflect real conditions.

How long to allow depends on what you are mapping:

Your qualification plan takes precedence. If it specifies a stabilization or baseline period, follow it.

Activate the study

When the stabilization period is complete and your study start time arrives, return to the mapping software and confirm the study status. The status must show Active – not Draft and not Configured. If the status still shows Draft, the study is not recording data. Check that the start time you entered in Step 4 has passed. If the time has passed and the status is still not Active, contact Eupry Support.

Do not assume the study is running without confirming the Active status in the mapping software.

Do not move loggers once active

Moving a logger mid-study invalidates the spatial data for that position – the readings before and after the move cannot be reliably attributed to a single location. If you must move a logger for any reason, stop the study first, document the reason and the new position, and restart.

Execution

Monitoring a live study

A study can fail without any alarms firing – not because of a temperature excursion, but because a logger went offline and stopped recording. This step shows you how to check in on a running study so you catch problems while there is still time to fix them.

View data during the study

During an active study, you can open Eupry Mapping Software at any time to view the data collected so far. Enter the current date and time as the end time, select your loggers, and click Preview. The mapping software displays all data uploaded to that point.

The view does not update automatically. To see the most recent readings, click Preview again – each click fetches the latest uploaded data.

Check connectivity per logger

Look at the connectivity status for each logger in the logger list. A green icon confirms the logger is connected and uploading on schedule. A disconnected or alert icon means the logger has not sent data within the expected upload window.

Compliance note

Check connectivity at least once per day during the study period. A logger that loses connection for several hours creates a gap in the data record. That gap may require explanation in your final documentation or, in serious cases, may require the study to be restarted. A connectivity failure caught on day one can be resolved and documented; the same failure discovered after the study ends may invalidate the dataset.

Handling a temperature excursion

If your acceptance levels are set, the mapping software displays any excursions as colored sections on the graph and as entries in the table of excursions. A temperature excursion during the study is not automatically study-ending – your qualification plan defines the acceptance criteria and specifies how to evaluate and document excursions.

Document any excursion with the timestamp, the recorded value, and the action taken. This documentation becomes part of your audit record in Step 8.

If a logger goes offline

Work through this sequence before stopping the study:

  1. If your kit includes a Basestation, check the Basestation signal LEDs and confirm they show steady green. If the Basestation has lost connection, restore that first. If your loggers connect through your own Wi-Fi, press the center button on the logger and check whether it still shows a connection – if the whole network is down, restore that first.
  2. Go to the logger's physical location and press the center button. Wait up to two minutes to see if the green Wi-Fi light returns.
  3. If your kit includes a Basestation, confirm the logger is within 100 meters of it, with no major new obstacles.

If connectivity is restored, note the time of the outage and the time it was resolved. Continue the study and include this record in your deviation log.

When to stop and restart

If connectivity cannot be restored, consult your qualification plan on how to proceed. If the plan specifies a maximum allowable data gap and the outage has exceeded that threshold, stop the study. When stopping, document the stop time, the reason, and the duration of the data gap. Do not delete the partial study data – it may still be useful as evidence of what occurred.

Starting over means returning to Step 4 to configure a new study window. The loggers remain in position; the study period simply resets to a new start time.

Complete the full required duration

Your qualification plan specifies the minimum study duration required for your regulatory context. Do not stop the study before that duration is complete, even if early data looks clean. Complete data across the full required period is what makes the report defensible.

Reporting

Generating your mapping report

The study is complete. This step walks you through generating your final mapping report in Eupry Mapping Software – every section, what it means, and how to confirm the report is correct before saving it.

Set the study window

Open the mapping software and enter the exact start and end time for your report. Use the times from your qualification plan – the formal start of the study period, not when the loggers were first deployed. The system extracts data from and including the minute you enter as the start time, and up to and including the minute you set as the end time. Confirm the mapping name and timezone match your configuration from Step 4.

Select loggers

In the logger selection panel, select every position ID included in the study. Only selected loggers appear in the data explorer and in the final report. If a logger was present for part of the study but removed for any reason, consult your qualification plan on whether to include its partial data or exclude it. If excluded, document the reason.

Data point limit

Reports in the mapping software have a limit of 30,000 data points. A study with many loggers running over a long period can reach this limit, which prevents the report from generating or cuts it off. If you hit the limit, reduce the number of selected loggers or shorten the time window. If your study genuinely requires more data points than the limit allows, contact Eupry Support before attempting to generate the report.

Save report, not Preview

Compliance note

When you are ready to generate the final report, click Save report. Do not use Preview for the final report – Preview generates a temporary view that cannot be exported or shared. Save report creates a permanent, exportable version stored in your Mappings Library. This is the step that creates the document you will download and archive in Step 8.

Understanding the report elements

Graph

The graphical representation shows temperature – or humidity – over time for every selected logger. To zoom in on a period, click and drag directly on the graph; click Reset Zoom in the top right to reset. To focus on individual loggers, click the position ID labels in the legend below the graph, which removes them from the interactive view. The exported report always contains all selected loggers regardless of how you filter the display. You can export the graph to PDF, JPEG, PNG, or SVG from the menu icon in the top right. If acceptance levels are set, colored bands indicate periods inside or outside the acceptance range.

Summary table

The summary table gives an overview of each position ID across the study period – the minimum, mean, and maximum value recorded for every logger, with the average across all loggers in the bottom row. Bold values indicate the extreme readings across the full dataset – the single highest and lowest values recorded by any logger, which is where hot spots and cold spots become visible at a glance. If acceptance levels are set, values below the lower level appear in blue and values above the upper level appear in red. A red mean value indicates the average at that position was above the acceptance range for the full study period.

Box plot

The box plot arranges every logger by its median value, from lowest to highest. The box shows the 25th to 75th percentile – the range containing 50 percent of all readings from that logger. The whiskers extend to the 5th and 95th percentiles – the range containing 90 percent of all readings. Use the box plot to identify loggers with high variance (a wide box or long whiskers) and to spot hot or cold spots the summary table alone may not reveal. Hover over any box to see exact percentile values.

Extrema tables

The extrema tables highlight the positions with the most notable readings. There are four:

The value used to rank each position is shown in black; all other values for that logger are shown in gray.

Table of excursions

The table of excursions lists every period where readings fell outside your acceptance levels. For each excursion you see the position ID and logger serial number, the start (the last measurement inside or equal to the acceptance level, just before the excursion began), the worst value recorded and its timestamp, the end (the last measurement back inside or equal to the acceptance level), the total duration, and the excursion type (low or high).

How excursion duration is calculated

Excursion durations are calculated on a worst-case basis: the measurement intervals immediately before and after the excursion period are included in the calculation. This is a conservative, worst-case approach appropriate for GxP documentation. If no acceptance levels were entered in Step 4, this section is empty.

Mappings Library and downloads

Your saved report is stored in the Mappings Library tab. You can return to it at any time, share a link, or download it – you do not need to regenerate it, as the saved version persists in your account.

To download, scroll to the download section at the bottom of the page. You have three options:

If your protocol requires a specific decimal separator for CSV exports, select it in the export settings before downloading. These files are what you will use to build your documentation package in Step 8.

Your report is saved. Downloading the PDF is not the same as being audit-ready. This step covers assembling everything an auditor will look for into a complete, defensible documentation package.

What a complete package contains

A mapping study generates more than a single PDF. An audit-ready documentation package contains:

  1. The mapping report PDF, with all required report elements enabled
  2. Calibration certificates for every sensor used in the study
  3. Raw data in CSV format, if required by your protocol
  4. Completed IQ/OQ/PQ templates, signed and dated
  5. Any deviation records created during the study

Download the mapping report PDF

Open your saved report from the Mappings Library tab, scroll to the download section, and click Mapping report under Download as PDF. Save the file using a name that matches your organization's document naming convention. Use the mapping name from Step 4 as the basis for the filename – the mapping name in the file should match the name in your qualification protocol exactly.

Download calibration certificates

After selecting your loggers in Eupry Mapping Software, the External Sensor Certificates section appears below the logger selection panel. This section shows calibration certificates for the sensors used in your study, scoped to the study period. Select all certificates and download – if more than one is present, bulk download retrieves them in a single action.

Compliance note

If you do not see a certificate for a logger, check two things: that the external sensor is physically inserted in that logger (a logger with no sensor has no certificate to show), and that the logger came online during the study period (a logger never connected to Eupry's servers will not appear in the certificate list). Before archiving, confirm the certificate dates cover the full study period. A sensor whose calibration lapsed during the study creates a compliance gap that must be resolved before the audit. In any of these cases, contact Eupry Support.

Export CSV data (if required)

If your qualification protocol requires raw data in addition to the PDF report, return to the download section and click Combined data under Download as CSV. Select the decimal separator that matches your organization's requirements – comma or dot – and download.

Complete IQ/OQ/PQ templates

The mapping software does not generate IQ/OQ/PQ documentation automatically. Completing the qualification templates requires your organization's own protocol documents. The mapping report PDF provides all the data you need: the time range, sensor IDs, acceptance levels, summary statistics, and the excursion table. Work through each protocol section and populate it from the corresponding section of the report.

What an auditor checks

When reviewing a mapping documentation package, an auditor will verify:

The most common audit failure

The most common audit failure in mapping documentation is not a bad result – it is a missing certificate, a name mismatch, or an unsigned protocol. Review the package against the checklist above before closing the file. If any element is missing or does not match across documents, the audit may fail or require resubmission.

Archive

Store all documents in your organization's document management system under the study name and date. Keep the mapping report PDF, calibration certificates, CSV data, signed IQ/OQ/PQ protocols, and deviation records together in a single location. The study record in the mapping software's Mappings Library remains accessible at any time – you can return to share or re-download the report without regenerating it.

Wrap-up

Returning your kit

Your study is complete, your documentation is assembled, and your kit is ready to return. This step covers how to pack and ship everything back to Eupry.

Request the prepaid return label

A prepaid return label is not included in the original kit packaging. Contact Eupry Support to request one – reach the team at support@eupry.com, or by phone. The label is sent to you digitally. Request it before you begin packing so it is ready when the kit is.

Remove and preserve the batteries

Before packing the loggers, remove the AA lithium batteries from each one. Press the center button after removing the batteries to confirm the logger is powered down. Removing the batteries preserves their remaining charge for the next rental and is a required part of the return process.

Repack all components

Using the original packaging, repack every component your kit shipped with:

Check against your inventory

Check the inventory list from Step 1 to confirm everything is accounted for. Missing components on return may result in a replacement charge.

Seal and ship

Affix the prepaid return label to the outside of the package. Drop the package off at the designated carrier location, or arrange a collection pickup if that option is available in your region. Share the tracking number with Eupry Support so the return can be confirmed on receipt.

Your records stay accessible

Your study data and reports remain accessible in Eupry Mapping Software after the kit is returned. You do not need to export everything before shipping – your Mappings Library is cloud-hosted and available any time you need to revisit the data, share a report with an auditor, or reference the study for a future mapping cycle.
