1·Check the kit

Check everything against the printed packing list, which is your reference because kits are configured differently. Batteries ship installed: use AA lithium only, never alkaline, and replace both in every logger for a new study.

2·Connect your loggers

Follow whichever route matches your kit.

2A·Kits with a Basestation

1. Attach all three antennas, one Wi-Fi and two mobile, before you connect power.
2. Stand the Basestation centrally, away from corners, concrete, and metal. Plug in and wait for the signal LEDs to hold steady green.
3. Live Data Hub? Place it beside the Basestation, connect its power, and check all three indicators are lit.
4. Bring each logger within two to three meters, press the center button, and wait for a steady green Wi-Fi light.

2B·Data loggers only, over your own Wi-Fi

1. You need a 2.4 GHz network; 5 GHz alone will not work. On a managed network, clear it with IT first.
2. Install Eupry Connect on a device joined to that network, and enter the network name, password, and encryption type.
3. Hold the logger's "e" button for six seconds, until the Wi-Fi and temperature lights blink red. You then have ten minutes.
4. Accept the "eupry-datalogger" prompt, again if the first try does not take. Done when it reads Connected Successfully.

3·Confirm every logger is online

Press the center button on each logger.

Then check that every logger shows a green connectivity icon in Eupry Mapping Software. The center button forces an upload: loggers report every three minutes with a Live Data Hub, every twelve hours without one.

4·Place the loggers and let them stabilize

• Follow the placement diagram in your mapping protocol exactly, and mark each position as you go.
• Give every sensor unrestricted airflow: not against a wall, not inside a container, not touching shelving. Document any deviation.
• After each placement, wait for one data point before moving on: Preview with the current time as the end point, and confirm the green icon.
• Then stabilize before the formal start. Rooms and warehouses need 24 hours or more, fridges and freezers less. Your mapping protocol takes precedence.
